Bring Back The Dodo!

A forum to re-animate once extinct birds (such as the Dodo) through cloning of ANY viable DNA materials that might be extant. Including a Paleorthinologic Park to include the likes of the Great Auk, the moa, elephantbirds, etc.. Obviously, this site has expanded beyond its original mission. It has become more of a celebration of life extant, extinct and undiscovered. A celebration of the expansion of the biosphere. Please read on. For more regular info. check links on the right side.

What is the True Meaning of Christmas? A Modest Suggestion.

What is the true meaning of Christmas? We can only suggest you donate to those in need this season - as so many of you already have - to those in need in this troubled world economy of today. You don't have to be religious or believe, just make a secular donation and see how good you feel about it. For the truly needy, look no further than the Doctors Without Borders Top Ten List: Doctors Without Borders' Top 10 Humanitarian Crises http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/publications/topten/ - and direct your donations to them or these causes. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Happy Hanukah. Happy Kwanzaa. And Merry New Year.

Talk to Midori - The Plant!!! You Can Link to Midori's Blog Here.

OOPS! Apparently the link we provided was an "about" page on Midori. Please read the following from Masakazu OHTSUKA. "Dear ******,Hello,I'm a member of KAYAC Inc. (http://www.kayac.com/),the company which created the blogging plant system.Sorry I'm not the plant itself ;-pThanks for the contact and for your blog entry! The English blogging plant's English "about" page is here.http://plant.bowls-cafe.jp/about_en.phpMight be more information for you. There isn't any way to directly talk with Midori, but we have a blog widget here for you to show it on your blog.--Masakazu OHTSUKA

We first heard about Midori, the blogging plant, on the BBC Nightly News on PBS last night, Tuesday, October 21, 2008 and were amazed by it. We had to make a couple of searches on the BBC News Website in order to find the story on the internets. We then googled "Midori, the blogging plant" and found the link on the "Pink Tentacle" site.

This was our first message to Midori, the Plant!!! " Greetings to you plant, Midori. I've never communicated directly with a plant before. This is a very exciting development to me. I am very pleased to meet you. I will treat all vegetation with greater respect from now on. I hope you can visit my blog "Bring Back the Dodo!" (http://www.bringbackthedodo.blogspot.com) on Google's Blogger site (blogger.com). There I have a special link to Flora called "Floralinks". I will include link to your site and the BBC story that brought me to you. Sorry that this message is in English, but my Japanese is not so good. Hope you are well and it is sunny tomorrow. Love, ******"
